Admission Procedure – Takshshila Institute of Engineering & Technology

Eligibility Criteria

✅ B.Tech. (4-Year Degree Course)

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 (M.P./CBSE Board) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology.
  • Minimum 45% marks for General category and 40% for OBC/SC/ST candidates.
  • Admission is based on JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) rank conducted by CBSE, New Delhi, and the merit of qualifying exams.
  • Centralized counseling is conducted by DTE Bhopal for seat allocation.

✅ B.Tech. (Lateral Entry – Direct Admission to Second Year)

  • Candidates must have passed a three-year Engineering Diploma in the relevant branch OR a three-year B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • Minimum 45% marks in any branch of Engineering/Diploma for eligibility.

✅ Polytechnic Diploma Course

  • Candidates must have passed the 10th standard (M.P./CBSE Board) with subjects Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Minimum 35% marks for General/OBC/SC/ST categories.
  • Admission is based on PPT (Pre-Polytechnic Test) rank and the merit of qualifying exams.

✅ MBA (2-Year Degree Course)

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 50% marks for General category and 45% for OBC/SC/ST candidates.

✅ M.Tech. (2-Year Degree Course)

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 50% marks for General category and 45% for OBC/SC/ST candidates.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission

Candidates must submit the following documents during reporting for admission:

  1. 10th Marksheet & Certificate
  2. 12th Marksheet & Certificate (For B.Tech. applicants)
  3. Diploma/B.Sc. Marksheet & Certificate (For Lateral Entry applicants)
  4. Graduation Marksheet & Certificate (For MBA & M.Tech. applicants)
  5. JEE/PPT Scorecard (if applicable)
  6. Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
  7. Caste Certificate (for OBC/SC/ST candidates)
  8. Income Certificate (if applying for category-based scholarships)
  9. Aadhar Card (Photocopy)
  10. Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  11. Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last attended institution
  12. Passport-sized Photographs (4-6 copies)
