Prof. Ashish Kumar Chouksey is the Head of the Polytechnic Diploma Department at Takshshila Institute of Engineering and Technology. With a strong academic background, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Technology (M-Tech) in Energy Management. He is also an Associate Member of the “Institution of Engineers (India)” and a lifetime member of “The Indian Society for Technical Education.

प्रो. आशीष कुमार चौकसे तक्षशिला इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी के पॉलिटेक्निक डिप्लोमा विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। उनकी शैक्षणिक पृष्ठभूमि अत्यंत प्रभावशाली है –, उन्होंने इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरिंग में बैचलर ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग (B.E.) और एनर्जी मैनेजमेंट में मास्टर ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी (M-Tech) की डिग्री प्राप्त की है। वे “इंस्टीट्यूशन ऑफ इंजीनियर्स (इंडिया)” के सहयोगी सदस्य (Associate Member) तथा “द इंडियन सोसाइटी फॉर टेक्निकल एजुकेशन” के आजीवन सदस्य (Lifetime Member) भी हैं।

Takshshila Group of institutions (Polytechnic Diploma Engineering), Jabalpur, in collaboration with Katina Skills (Hoping Minds Pvt Ltd), is organized a free 7-day rooftop solar module training program exclusively for polytechnic students, green energy career aspirants, and renewable energy sector professionals. This hands-on workshop aims to empower participants with practical skills in solar technology to boost green careers.​The training runs from 4th to 10th November 2025 at the institute in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. It focuses on rooftop solar installations, encouraging sustainable energy adoption among youth.

Takshshila Group of institutions (Polytechnic Diploma Engineering), Jabalpur, students organized a dynamic podcast featuring with the Chairman, Secretary, Group Director and Principal, fostering dialogue on technical education and student growth.

The podcast, titled “POLY PODCAST”: “नेतृत्व के विचार, भविष्य की तैयारी!“, took place on a Augaust 20 &21, 2025, at the Umang auditorium. Students from (Polytechnic Diploma) handled production, recording, and editing, showcasing their technical skills in audio engineering. The session drew over 150 participants, including faculty and peers, and focused on career guidance, solar energy innovations, and polytechnic challenges.​

Takshshila Group of institutions (Polytechnic Diploma Engineering), Jabalpur, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a unique Technical Rakhi Making Competition on August 7 & 8, 2025. Students crafted innovative rakhis using LEDs for illumination, RAM models for speed symbolism, ROM chips to store memories, nut-bolt structures for enduring bonds, and binding wires for strengthened ties. The event slogan captured this fusion: “इस रक्षा बंधन पर हम लाए हैं एक अनोखी तकनीकी राखी— जहाँ LED की रौशनी हमें सही राह दिखाए, RAM की तेज़ी हमारे रिश्तों को मजबूत बनाए, ROM में बसी यादें सहेजे रखे प्यार पुराने, नट-बोल्ट की तरह हमारा बंधन हमेशा मजबूती से जुड़ा रहे, और बाइंडिंग वायर से रिश्ते की मजबूती को और बढ़ाए।” Over 100 electrical and electronics students participated, guided by faculty.

Takshshila Group of institutions (Polytechnic Diploma Engineering), Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, successfully conducted a vibrant orientation program for first-year diploma students on September 2025, marking their entry into technical education.​ The induction event welcomed over 250 new entrants in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Civil &Computer Science engineering, featuring interactive sessions on campus life, curriculum, and hands-on labs.

Takshshila Group of institutions (Polytechnic Diploma Engineering), Jabalpur, visited Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi Sagar Dam Bargi on November 8, 2025, for an enriching industrial tour focused on hydroelectric power generation.​ The trip aimed to provide hands-on exposure to dam infrastructure, turbine operations, and electrical systems like generators and transmission lines. Over 60 first-year diploma students, accompanied by faculty, explored power plant mechanics.
